Getting to Know Us

Foundation Baptist Church is a  brand new church planted in Sammamish as of November 5th, 2006, and is the only Baptist church established within the city limits. Foundation Baptist Church was established as a ministry of the Woodin Valley Baptist Church (Woodinville, WA) through the vision of Pastor Rich Farinella. This not only affords Foundation Baptist the privilege of being a second-generation church, but also of having a second-generation pastor, Matt Farinella.

Pastor Matt shares the same vision of his Dad to reach his community and the Seattle area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. After personally witnessing 20 years of life changing ministry at Woodin Valley Baptist, Pastor Matt understands the power the gospel has to change lives wherever it is preached.

From this developed the vision of Foundation Baptist Church to provide the people of Sammamish that same foundation of Christ to build their lives upon. Now the future lies before us and it's bright with hope. One day, God willing, we will be able to provide our community with such an effective and visible source of hope, that when the storms of life come, our ministry would be established as the community's natural source of help for all who need it.
